El estudio se centra en la personalidad de Jobs y su lealtad, y contiene un resumen de varias entrevistas hechas por el FBI para ver qué tipo de persona era. El informe no revela con quién habló el FBI ni tampoco qué tipo de puesto se le iba a proponer, pero refleja cómo era visto Jobs por sus conocidos en aquella época.
"Varias personas pusieron en tela de juicio la honestidad de Jobs diciendo que era capaz de distorsionar la realidad para lograr sus objetivos", reveló el dossier. En el informe, de 191 páginas, también se mencionan algunos "trapos sucios" del gurú de Apple como el hecho de que hubiese experimentado con drogas y que hubiese ignorado durante años a su hija Lisa.
En el momento del informe, el visionario genio de la tecnología acababa de verse forzado a abandonar Apple debido a las diferencias con el entonces consejero delegado de la compañía y estaba trabajando en NeXT Computer mientras elaboraba nuevas oportunidades como los estudios de animación Pixar.
El dossier sobre Steve Jobs fue colgado hoy en la web del FBI.
Jobs murió el pasado octubre a los 56 años víctima de un cáncer de páncreas y fue saludado como uno de los grandes revolucionarios del mundo tecnológico, tras inventar productos de consumo de masa como el iPod, el iPhone y el iPad.
